1. Khazar Islands, Azerbaijan

The Khazar Islands is a artificial island built 25 kilometers south of Baku City, Azerbaijan. The island consists of 41 islands in an area of 3,000 hectares in the Caspian Sea. Later this island will be built a city that is home to 1 million residents, 150 schools, 50 hospitals and several universities, shopping centers, formula 1 racing fields, to the tower of Azerbaijan which will be the tallest building in the world. Not only that, even all the facilities in this island will be able to withstand an earthquake of 9 Richter scale.
2. The King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia

The King Abdullah Economic City is a mega-project announced in 2005 by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The city will be built along the Red Sea coast, 150 kilometers north of Jeddah.
3. Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, India

Gujarat International Finance Tec-City or commonly called GIFT City is a business district promoted by the Government of Gujarat, the first operational smart city in India is located in Ahmedabad and will take up 986 hectares of land. The area itself will later have a special economic zone, an international education zone , integrated cities, entertainment zones, hotels and exchanges.
4. Songdo International Business District, South Korea

Songdo International Business District is a Smart City built on 1,500 hectares of reclaimed land, along the banks of the Incheon waters, 30 kilometers southwest of Seoul, South Korea. In this district itself will be built world-class office buildings, housing, hospitals , schools, and cultural facilities. With the Greenliving concept, 40% of the city’s land will be allocated for green open space. Not only that, this city also uses an underground pipeline system for municipal waste disposal.
5. Madinat Al – Hareer, Kuwait

Madinat Al – Hareer is a city that was built in Subiya, North Kuwait, which is planned to cover an area of 62,000 hectares. Later this City will be built housing, education centers, health centers, airports to skyscrapers.
